The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at RUET is one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious departments, known for excellence in education, research, and innovation. It offers a four-year B.Sc. Engineering degree with specialization options in Electrical Power, Electronics, or Communication Engineering, alongside advanced M.Sc., M.Engg., and PhD programs. Each year, the department admits about 180 top undergraduate and 40 postgraduate students through highly competitive admission tests. The faculty is composed of highly qualified scholars, many of whom have earned PhDs from renowned international universities and hold rich research and publication portfolios. The department maintains state-of-the-art laboratories across all major fields of EEE, ensuring strong practical skills development.
